| Descripción general |
Students will understand the importance of natural resources as an economic concept, as a value to society, and therefore the need to use them efficiently, considering the energy transition, the production and distribution of renewable and non-renewable resources, and industrial pollution. Theories of the efficient use of natural resources and issues related to current resource use practices will be examined in the light of issues of sustainability, externalities and energy transition. The course will make extensive use of case studies and some mathematical models to challenge students to frame problems in economic terms and to propose solutions to these problems. |
